Firsts...and latest

Delly just happened to try her first cereal the day that Angie got her first haircut. How fun that my girls are growing up!
She of course spit it right back out, but has since adjusted and is eating well. I also tried her on a sippy cup the other day, and she took it just fine. Freedom! She won't take a bottle, mostly because she doesn't know what to do with it, but this sippy cup I'm using is the same one I trained Angie with. There's no suction involved, the liquid just pours out, so if you go slowly and carefully, she'll drink out of it.
Conrad didn't want the leftover cereal to go to waste. :)
First haircut. So yes, I cut them a little short, but Angie is now styling some very cute bangs. I got tired of her hair being in her face all the time.

This picture's a little blurry, but you can see how cute she looks with her little ponytail now.
Taken yesterday - they're growing so fast! My job still involves a lot of monitoring to make sure Angie's not squishing her sister, but Delly seems to adore her, so there's usually not a whole lot of crying.
Latest funny story: We got home from a friend's house about a 1/2 hour after Angie's bedtime, and she didn't want to leave, so she was throwing a major tantrum by the time we got home. We tried everything before finally just carrying her in the house kicking and screaming. She was writhing on the floor screaming "Go bye-bye!" and we kept trying to say, "We'll go bye-bye later" and things like that to no avail. Finally I just stood over her and said, "No." Then the funniest thing happened. She got this grin on her face and and then screamed again, "Angie go bye-bye!" I said, "No." Then it became a game, and she slowly calmed down, then came and sat on the couch so we could read scriptures. Everything went fine from there. Conrad and I just looked at each other and shook our heads.
Just so you know, I do tell Angie no to things. I've just never heard of the word "no" being the key to calming a screaming toddler.
Delly - almost 5 months. Angie - 2 1/4
