Delia just hit the 4 month mark, and she's still long and lean! 25 1/2 inches and 13 lbs 2.5 oz. Her eyes are starting to get some color in them, so we think she'll have my hazel eyes. She's currently at the stage of trying to eat everything she can get her hands on, so we'll probably start her on cereal in the next day or two. She's been pretty similar to Angie so far as far as personality goes, happy and easy-going, so we'll see how things go as she gets older. As you can see, Angie likes to love on her, and Delly seems to tolerate it pretty well, even smiling and giggling when Angie gets in her face. She'll try to eat Angie's hand, and Angie will giggle and then give it to me so I can wipe off the baby drool.
Angie is doing well, too. She loves to play outside, read, watch musicals (!) and play with her sister. We made a modest attempt at potty training, and she showed interest in everything except actually using the potty for its intended function. Oh well. She's no longer napping, so every day is a daily struggle to get her to stay down happily for quiet time, but we're slowly figuring things out. Delly seems to be structuring her day sleep a little better, so I've been able to get a break during the past few days, but we'll see how things go with that. Oh, and Angie can almost count to 20! She gets to 13, then 14 & 15 kind of mesh, and then you hear a few other 'teens' until you get to 20. Moments like that are what melt you so you can be patient when you try to explain to your frustrated 2 year old that once you put a sticker on a piece of paper it probably won't stick to the table when you take it off the paper.
